About Cope's Gray Treefrog:
A small tree frog, cope's gray treefrog is only about 1 1/4 to 2 inches long. It is nocturnal, descending from the trees to the ground at night in order to breed. It is found in the eastern and midwestern U.S. It is arboreal, living high in trees of hardwood and coniferous forests. It eats small insects. It's body can withstand partial freezing (down to about -4 to -5 degrees Celsius). The Cope's Grey Tree Frog is indistinguishable from the Grey Tree Frog (Hyla versicolor). It has bright orange coloring on its hind legs.
