Clam shrimp have three body sections, the head, thorax, and abdomen, and fourteen pair of appendages. They are found in freshwater.

Subphylum: Crustacea (having 3 body parts: head, thorax, and abdomen/pleon)
Class: Branchiopoda (includes brine shrimp, aka sea monkeys, water fleas, and daphnia)
