About deepwater sculpins:
Deepwater sculpins are freshwater sculpins of lakes in northern North America. They range in size from 2 to 6 inches in length but have been known to reach 9 inches. They spawn year round and prefer cold water and live about seven years. Deepwater sculpins eat crustaceans. Predators include lake trout and burbot.
