Drawing a Frog:

How to Illustrate a Frog Using Pencil

Frog Illustration How To: 1 Start your drawing with the general outline of the largest shape.
Frog Illustration How To: 2 Sketch in the secondary shapes and see how they relate to other shapes, such as how the eye socket aligns with the other eye.
Frog Illustration How To: 3 Drawing the eye and the highlight of the light reflecting off of the eye helps to make the frog begin to look alive at an early stage in the drawing.
Frog Illustration How To: 4 Begin to put in the shadows where the light isn't reaching.
Frog Illustration How To: 5 Finally, put the tone and patterns into the body.

Continue to develop the patterns in the body and use your eraser to bring out the highlights where the light is shining on the frog.
